"Being with Jesus" is the first of the three key goals of apprenticeship: to be with Jesus, become like Him, and do what He did. Through abiding in His presence, much like the metaphor of the vine and branches from John 15, we are spiritually sustained and empowered to live in alignment with His teachings and character.
