Reverse the curse
ABOUT THIS MESSAGE
JESUS CAME TO REVERSE THE CURSE! If you go back with me about 2000 years ago Thursday, Jesus' disciples were in the garden of Gethsemanie praying together when suddenly there were torches as the Roman soldiers made their way into the garden to arrest Jesus. Jesus is put on trial before Annas, Ciaphas (The High Priest), Pilate and Herod. His disciples flee in fear as Jesus is flogged and a crown of thorns is placed on his head and a purple robe is draped over his shoulders. The soldiers mocked him, spitting in his face, plucking out his beard, and throwing punches all while saying “Prophesy… if you are really the son of God, tell us who hit you”. The crowd gathered cried, crucify him, crucify, crucify him! And at their request, Jesus was made to carry a cross up to a hill called Golgotha. There he was nailed to it and lifted into the air, to die by crucifixion. As he hung there he cried out, "FATHER FORGIVE THEM, FOR THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO” and hanging his head to die cried out “IT IS FINISHED.” What is finished? …THE CURSE!
