Saved, For What?
ABOUT THIS MESSAGe
In Exodus 19, the Israelites arrive at Mount Sinai, where God calls them to be His holy nation if they obey His covenant. Moses ascends the mountain, and God instructs him to prepare the people by consecrating themselves for three days. On the third day, God’s presence descends in fire, smoke, thunder, and a loud trumpet blast, causing the mountain to shake. The people stand in awe as Moses mediates between them and God, emphasizing God’s holiness, the need for obedience, and the preparation for receiving the Ten Commandments.
